RN Staff Nurse - Oregon Burn Center

Join Legacy Health as an RN Staff Nurse at the Oregon Burn Center, a leading facility located between Seattle and Sacramento. Our nurses embody the Legacy nursing philosophy, serving as advocates, communicators, problem‑solvers, and caregivers who provide the extraordinary care required by burn victims across Oregon and Southern Washington.

Responsible for patient care within an assigned department/unit. Collaborate with the health care team, under the direction of the clinical manager or designee, following the Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse. Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using established Legacy Health System standards for patient assessment and transfer.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a degree in progress (highly preferred). For specific assignments, a BSN may be required; experienced RNs without a BSN may be considered with approval of the site CNO.

• One year of registered nursing experience or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program, or a nursing program equivalent in content, curriculum, and duration.
• Additional clinical experience requirements may vary depending on the specific department.

• Burn experience preferred; critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community.
• Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.

• Current applicable state RN license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

USD $54.37 – $81.21 per hour.
