Registered Nurse - PACU

Variable shifts RN for South PACU Day/eve with the possibility of some night and/or call. Potential Start times: 0530, 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500, and 1900 Shift will stay the same each week, if not for the whole contract. Flexibility is needed. Experience in Adult or Peds Critical Care through ICU or high acuity ED or PACU BCLS and ACLS required South PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) is a 38-bay unit that provides 24/7 perianesthesia care to adult patients as well as some pediatric patients.

Ambulatory, Acute Care, and Critical Care patients arriving from home, the emergency department, and from the inpatient setting are prepared for surgery and other procedures in the department. Patients are also recovered from anesthesia after their surgeries/procedures and transitioned to the inpatient setting or discharged home from 6A. The unit is staffed 24/7 and uses call to support nights, weekends, and holidays.
