We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Feb 16, 2026. This 100-day opportunity is based at a trauma center with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week and one weekend of call per month, including both 10-hour and 24-hour call shifts. The role involves first assist responsibilities within an orthopedic surgical setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide first assist support in orthopedic surgical procedures at a trauma center
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams in perioperative patient care
• Participate in preoperative assessment and postoperative management of orthopedic patients
• Respond to trauma and urgent orthopedic cases as required by call schedule
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Additional Information

• Must have active Oregon license
• Required board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Experience with first assist in trauma settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
