Certified Nursing Assistant – Full Time – Nights – Med Surg
Location:
Adventist Health Portland, a 302‑bed hospital and integrated health system in East Portland. Work nights in the Med Surg unit.
Provides personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Performs tasks associated with activities of daily living and reports patients’ status and concerns to the RN.

Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent (Preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS‑BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification – Required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification – Required
- Assists with nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints, and restorative care.
- Takes vital signs including pulse and blood pressure.
- Helps patients with basic needs such as bathing, dressing and feeding.
- Performs clerical duties, routes patient reports, and provides assessment data to the certified nurse within scope of practice.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
