We are partnering with our Portland, OR professional services client to recruit a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis! This organization has a glowing reputation in the Pacific Northwest, and is looking to bring on a permanent hire to supplement their integrated marketing efforts.

Your role will focus on supporting and enabling the business development function, positioning the brand through social media campaigns and engagement, print and digital business development assets, website content, and more. This is a relatively entry level opportunity, perfect for those with 1+ year(s) of marketing experience, a deep passion for social media and networking, and the tenacity to improve processes and grow within the organization!

Experience in professional services is required, and this is a business professional environment. This is a ONSITE role in a gorgeous, Downtown Portland office. Transit or parking is partially subsidized for staff.

This is a permanent role and will be paid hourly depending on relevant experience, ranging from $25 to $30 an hour based on relevant experience, technical skills and industry match.

You will:

  • Support a thriving, tight-knit marketing team in a variety of tasks that support the organization’s marketing and business development needs
  • Partner closely with internal staff and teams to plan marketing campaigns, events, assets or similar projects that increase brand awareness and digital engagement
  • Curating consistent, strategic social media content that drives engagement, awareness and updates, leveraging planning tools like Sprout or Hootsuite
  • Plan events, sponsor ships and community engagement opportunities, representing the organization to the Portland community and driving engagement with across internal teams
  • Write, edit and optimize content for campaigns, posts, web pages and print materials
  • Support a variety of administrative and support projects for the team, as needed, with a focus on optimizing resources and streamlining processes

Your profile should include:

  • 1+ year(s) of professional services marketing experience, ideally working in Legal, Insurance, Financial Services or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with and a love for social media management, using tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social to drive consistent community engagement
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain calendars for campaigns, events and other projects and keep team members aligned with goals and timelines
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to serve as an organizational representative in the community
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to write and edit content and communicate frequently internally and externally
