Overview
We are partnering with our Portland, OR manufacturing and distribution client to recruit a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the integrated digital and analytics functions of this B2B marketing department. While your duties will run the gamut of digital channels for the department, including social media support, email marketing campaigns, SEO strategy, web content management and paid advertising, you do not need to be an expert in all of these areas to be a fit for this team.
They are prioritizing strong analytical skills, a background in paid media, and the passion to learn and grow within the digital space. To be a fit, you should bring 1+ year of professional marketing experience. Experience running paid ads and social media campaigns is required for consideration, with a strong preference for email marketing, SEO and/or web content background. Reporting and analytics are key, and strong experience in Excel, Google Analytics and similar tools is highly preferred.
Soft skills are critical: this is a collaborative, strategic team that works together to drive results. Curiosity, openness and collaboration are most important.
This is an excellent, entry-level opportunity for a local marketer to grow under an excellent leader and a strong team! This is a hybrid role, set to be in the Portland office 3-4 days per week
. Salary ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 annually. This role is a permanent position and will be overtime eligible! Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance with an HSA option, matching 401(K), three weeks of PTO and other supplemental benefits options.
- You will:
- Support marketing team members and leadership in positioning the brand on digital channels, tackling a variety of tasks and projects on the digital side of the brand
- Create, run, track and report on digital marketing campaigns across paid media, social media, email, SEO and similar, testing strategy and reviewing campaign KPIs and ROI to inform future campaign decisions
- Serve as a digital subject-matter expert for the brand, providing insights on brand awareness and digital footprint
- Coordinate supplemental creative and content projects relevant to the digital space, including light design work, writing responsibility and web content management efforts
- Maintain knowledge and expertise on the company’s websites and pages, identifying opportunity to implement new web content strategy and updating pages
- Support other functionality and projects for the department, as needed
- 1+ year of professional experience in marketing with experience in digital marketing projects
- Experience creating, running and reporting on paid media and paid social campaigns, with Google Ads and Google Analytics experience, required for consideration
- Experience running email marketing, social media and SEO campaigns and strategy, strongly preferred
- Experience in content writing and light design work in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, preferred
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms, required;
Experience with email marketing tools, social media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite and advanced Excel experience, preferred - Collaborative, curious mentality with the goal of constant improvement for the department’s digital efforts
