A bit about us:
We are partnering with a small, specialized manufacturing company in Vancouver, WA that produces carbide-tipped chainsaw chain products for industrial use. This is a stable, tight-knit team environment where most employees are trained on the job due to the unique nature of the equipment and processes. The team is currently looking to bring on a Machine Operator to support production and eventually step into responsibilities being transitioned from a retiring senior operator.

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical aptitude who wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Typical hours: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

Some flexibility on shift timing based on production needs

Starting pay: $18–$20/hour depending on experience

Steady, long-term work with opportunities to grow skills over time

• Operate and monitor production equipment used in carbide-tipped chain manufacturing
• Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed
• Use hand tools and measuring tools to maintain quality standards
• Perform routine inspections of product and equipment during production runs
• Assist with basic preventative maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
• Work closely with a small team to maintain consistent production output

• 1–3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, machine operator, or hands-on mechanical environment preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
• Ability to follow instructions, learn new processes, and be trained on specialized equipment
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and willingness to be part of a small team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a production environment
