- Receives travelers; reviews instructions for job on traveler and prints
- Sets up grinding/finishing equipment with proper grit belts or pads
- Sets up tumblers or vibratory equipment with proper media
- Performs operations that will meet cosmetic requirements
- Operates graining machine; performs drilling operations
- Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to maintain good operation
- Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Good eye and hand skills
- Can properly blend welds and radius
- Proficiently use a variety of hand grinding or machine finishing equipment
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: (a) stand (up to 8 hours per shift), (b) walk, (c) use hands to touch, (d) reach with hands and arms, (e) climb or balance, (f) stoop, (g) kneel, crouch, or crawl, and (h) and talk or hear.
- The employee must frequently maneuver up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.
- May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke and temperature extremes within OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels.
Hours- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30 PM
Pay- $18.00-$21.00 per hour
