A leading manufacturing company in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Furnace Operator to safely operate vacuum and air casting processes. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, maintaining furnace operations, and training employees in various casting methods. Candidates must have knowledge of furnace operations, effective communication skills, and the ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately. Certification as a Foundry Person or Heat Treat Operator is preferred.

This role requires physical endurance in a hot work environment.
