Overview
We are partnering with a beverage manufacturer in Portland, OR to place a Procurement Specialist. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role will oversee procurement of all packaging and shipping materials, as well as play a key role in vendor management.
Responsibilities- Monitor inventory of all inorganic materials (boxes, cartons, overwrap, etc.)
- Plan and place purchase orders for new materials
- Work closely with shipping and production teams
- Process new products and samples
- Heavily leverage Net Suite s MRP Workbench and Purchase Orders functionality
- Previous procurement experience in a manufacturing environment; food & beverage experience preferred
- Experience with Net Suite, specifically MRP Workbench and Purchase Orders
