Level II Radiographer (source and film experience required).

Responsibilities
  • Perform RT examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Set up and utilize NDT Testing Equipment for Radiographic Inspections.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees.
  • Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
  • Prepare written instructions and organize and report the results of examinations.
  • Work independently and support team members.
  • Perform other job‑related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
  • Actively participate in ATS and Client Safety Programs.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
  • RT Assistants / NDT Assistants – Minimum requirements of an NDT RT Assistant / NDT Assistant;
    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; math and print reading skills; ability to use computers for data entry and report writing. Prior NDT classroom training or OJT preferred.
  • Level II Radiographers – Minimum requirements of an NDT Level II RT Technician; documentation of education, training, and experience in applicable NDT method(s); working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; effective communication with other departments and customers.
  • Documented experience with DR and/or CR X‑ray imaging and processing as required.
  • State or IRRSP card required.
  • Additional NDT certs are a plus.
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Completion of a 40 Hour Radiation Safety Course preferred.

  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions
  • Must wear safety equipment as required.
  • Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man‑baskets, etc.
  • Work in confined spaces requiring crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
  • Work in or around operating equipment and industrial environments.
  • Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
  • Shifts up to 12 hours/day, up to 7 days/week, including travel for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
