Design Consultant

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Design Consultant for a well-established, privately held organization supporting high-impact commercial projects.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Portland, Oregon
, ideal for someone who wants hands-on design work, real ownership, and a long-term career—not a stepping-stone gig.

You’ll take designs from drawings to real-world execution, combining technical design, sharp math skills, and field-based insight. • Design accurate layouts and technical documentation for active projects
• Turn architectural drawings into build-ready solutions
• Conduct on-site evaluations to ensure precision and quality
• Collaborate with experienced internal teams and project partners
• Own projects from concept through final documentation
• Help refine processes and improve design efficiency

• Strong math and geometry skills with a detail-driven mindset
• Ability to read and interpret architectural or construction drawings
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools
• Comfortable in hands-on, field-based environments
• Confident communicator who takes pride in their work

• $60,000–$65,000 annual salary
