• Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned.

• Starting Pay: $22.50 per hour

• Shift: 1st Shift (Monday through Thursday 8am-6:30pm)

• Join a team that values precision, quality, and safety. We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to support our 1st shift operations. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience with material handling and machine operation, we want to hear from you.

• Key Accountabilities:

• Must be certified in the Material Handler position

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment

• Pull, inspect, and verify product prior to processing

• Safely set up equipment based on setup note specifications

• Process setup notes according to work order instructions

• Verify product meets specifications and record inspection measurements per sampling plan

• Communicate with sales representatives for order clarifications or changes

• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment

• Enter and delete material identification tags as directed

• Assist in packaging material per work order and written instructions

• Maintain and properly use measuring equipment and weighing scales

• Identify, record, and segregate scrap and non-conforming material

• Provide feedback to supervisors on machine performance and product quality

• Keep work area clean and follow all safety protocols

• Assist in training team members as needed

• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and quality improvement activities

• Demonstrate TKMNA employee competencies and values

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math

• Physically able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

• Previous warehouse experience, preferably in the metals industry

• Prior forklift experience

• Familiarity with handheld measuring tools

• Computer literate and able to work with inventory/order systems
