Warehouse Team Member

• Hourly rate starts at $20.00/hr. with rapid increases based on positive performance.

• Receive inventory deliveries – communicates with delivery drivers daily.
• Safely operates a forklift to move stock throughout the warehouse daily and maintains continuous forklift certification.
• Unload trucks and container shipments while assessing incoming shipments and/or parts and rejects the shipments if they do not meet our quality specifications daily.
• Pick up and replenish stock, materials, and parts throughout the plant for production as needed daily.
• Accurately count inventory when replenishing and when receiving parts from vendors daily.
• Reports faults or issues promptly to the supervisor daily.
• Ensure inventory meets our quality standards daily.
• Participate in inventory activities, including cycle counting, as needed, daily.
• Effectively communicates with supply chain team members weekly.
• Maintain and organize warehouse locations daily.
• Help to clean scrap/defective parts daily.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and embrace Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the department.
• Partner with Supervisor/Manager to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements with a proactive stance on root cause analysis
• Ability to maintain and update department records/files, including data collection and tracking KPIs such as inventory turnover, on-time delivery, and order accuracy
• Participate in year-end inventory counting and reconciliation yearly.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

• Moderate computer skills required – Excel knowledge strongly encouraged
• Demonstrated organization skillset
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted routinely, up to 70 lbs. occasionally
• 1+ years warehouse experience preferred
• Lean manufacturing experience/education a plus
