What you will be doing
  • Prepare test samples (Aluminum) according to industry and Hydro standards.
  • Conduct mechanical testing, including tensile, yield, and elongation tests, as well as flare testing, ensuring adherence to testing procedures and compliance.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical behavior and compliance.
What will make you successful?
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with quality testing and inspection procedures is a plus
  • Strong math, problem-solving, and computer skills
  • Ability to understand and comply with lab and company quality and safety documentation
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards
  • Skilled in operating test and inspection equipment
  • Capable of operating a band saw and CNC machinery
