Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor to support a high-volume, 24/7 production environment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise in process, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance
, combined with proven experience leading unionized teams.
You will play a critical role in driving safety, quality, line efficiency, and operational excellence
, while developing technical talent and improving equipment performance.
People & Labor Management
- Lead and manage Safety, Quality, and Line Efficiency for the assigned shift
- Facilitate and lead the Daily Maintenance Meeting System
- Execute maintenance and repair plans while developing team capabilities
- Support recruitment and interviewing of mechanics and maintenance staff
- Manage union relationships
, resolving issues professionally and collaboratively - Build team capability by coaching Shift Leads and technicians
- Ensure GMP compliance across tooling, workshops, and maintenance activities
- Lead talent development for Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technicians
- Lead Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) improvement initiatives
- Act as lead decision‑maker during unplanned downtime to safely restore production
- Document learnings and provide post‑intervention feedback
- Drive execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs (planned and unplanned)
- Provide timely PM feedback to update plans in SAP
- Prioritize PMs tied to Safety and Quality
- Support breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Ensure line readiness and on‑time start‑up based on production priorities
- Optimize cost‑effective Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) strategies
- Improve equipment reliability and performance using lean manufacturing principles
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, training standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support a continuous improvement culture in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience in maintenance, engineering, or production within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with unionized employees
- Strong background in Preventive Maintenance and equipment reliability
- Experience leading machine technicians, electricians, and engineers
- Proven ability to lead teams in a 24/7 manufacturing operation
