We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician II to support our industry leading products here at Tosoh Quartz, Inc. As the Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment across the facility, including equipment in the acid room.

• Perform required maintenance on equipment, as detailed on work orders.
• Determine tools and materials needed to perform tasks and requisition parts and supplies.
• Observe and read instruments, gauges, dials, etc., to determine operating conditions.
• Read and interpret detailed prints, sketches, layouts, specifications, etc.
• Identify and list production data such as quantities, pressures, alloys, and operating conditions.
• Read and understand equipment maintenance and service manuals.
• Troubleshoot for repair of “Equipment Down” as required.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, saws, automated lifts, etc.
• Follow up on completed work orders to ensure satisfaction of projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions from maintenance and service manuals.
• Ability to use and understand maintenance test and measurement equipment.
• Ability to use mechanical and machine tools and general machining and metal shop equipment.
• Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed, involved instructions both verbal and written; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
• Experience using measuring devices such as micrometers, calibrated steel tapes, calipers, etc., where precision and interpretation are required.
