- Receive, organize, inventory and prioritize incoming test specimens from the machine shop.
- Perform daily hand‑tools calibration checks.
- Inspect, identify, perform and record dimensions of various test specimen geometries and configurations using flat/point micrometers and flat/point calipers.
- Operate test equipment to perform room and elevated temperature tensile/compression, charpy impact, stress rupture testing and rotating beam fatigue testing.
- Handle precision instrumentation and equipment with care as directed.
- Communicate data, workflow, equipment and all other lab‑related information.
- Accurately complete datasheets using manual and exported data.
- 1‑2 years of laboratory experience.
- Familiarity with measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent experience.
