Carpentry Production Associate

Our client is a local manufacturer in the Northwest Industrial District, known throughout the region as the builder to meet custom crate and shipping needs!

SCHEDULE: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Flexibility in working overtime and weekends is required.

PAY: $18 / hour

DUTIES:

• Assist in building custom crates out of wood with specific measurements.
• Learn other aspects of the job and be able to transition from one function to another.
• Maintain a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and confidence.
• Be reliable, punctual, and consistent in attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Experience with woodworking tools such as nail guns, skill saws, and pneumatics.
• Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lbs. on a wheeled dolly and lift up to 40 lbs. from time to time.
• Experience in construction/framing or manufacturing environments and working within deadlines is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
