District Service Manager at Critter Control Operations (CCO)
OverviewCritter Control Operations (CCO) seeks a driven and skilled manager to lead a team of technicians responsible for wildlife exclusion and repair services for residential and commercial properties. You will oversee service quality, drive team performance, and maintain compliance with safety and technical policies.
Responsibilities- Oversee and lead a team of technicians delivering high‑quality wildlife exclusion and pest control services.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and monitor service quality.
- Manage routing and scheduling to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Oversee service fleet maintenance and logistics.
- Act as a resource for service and customer satisfaction, addressing concerns and resolving complaints.
- Cover open routes and jobs when necessary.
- Manage district chemical orders and wildlife control supplies.
- Monitor accounts receivable in partnership with the District Manager.
- Conduct ride‑along with technicians for real‑time feedback and training.
- Ensure employee licensure and assist with renewals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be available to travel up to 10% and to Atlanta, GA within 60 days of start date.
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields.
- Ability to work in the field independently.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with software and applications; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories.
- Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must climb stairs and ladders safely.
- Must crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.
- Carry and use equipment necessary for inspections and minor control measures.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Competitive annual salary: $70,000–$75,000.
