Job Description SummaryAssociate Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring a high level of service at all times. They also build and motivate high‑performing teams to maximize the performance of the property.
EssentialJob Duties
- Assisting the Regional Property Manager with the overall operations of the building.
- Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
- Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
- Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
- Completing lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
- Tracking and evaluating advertising and all client traffic.
- Leading by example, instilling, maintaining, and modeling the Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company.
- Supervising day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are being followed.
- Maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.
- Maintaining residents' files in accordance with company standards.
- Maintaining a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
- Managing and maintaining all aspects of the overall community budget and finances.
- Working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
- General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Determining leasing opportunities of staff and working on goal setting; improving the performance of each staff member.
- Supervising day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all C & W policies and procedures are being followed.
- Working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
- Being able to manage a team.
- Performing any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required.
- 3+ years of Property Management experience.
- 1+ years of Management experience.
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. It requires regular travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

BenefitsCushman & Wakefield provides eligible employees with a variety of benefit programs, including health, vision, and dental insurance; flexible spending accounts; health savings accounts; retirement savings plans; life and disability insurance; and paid and unpaid time away from work. Compensation ranges from $35.14 to $41.34 per hour and varies by location, experience, and other factors. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
