Position Summary
Assistant Director, Business Operations oversees daily operations of SHAC Administrative Services, provides assessment for all SHAC departments, and coordinates HR activities. The role ensures effective support for Counseling Services, Health Services, Dental Services, and Health Promotion departments, enabling them to deliver exceptional student care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise SHAC Administrative Services staff, including hiring, performance management, and discipline.
- Coordinate business operations, marketing, communications, insurance, software support, quality assessment, purchasing, and billing.
- Execute scheduling, receptionist duties, outreach, and marketing communications to create an accessible student experience.
- BA/BS from an accredited university.
- 2+ years of direct management and supervisory experience, including ability to hire, fire, impose progressive discipline, and review employees.
- 2+ years managing business operations in a complex or higher education organization.
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.
