Compensation: $16.00-$18.00
Schedule: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Hours: 2 hours per day (time to be discussed with potential candidates based on their schedule)

- Salary is typically hired between minimum and midpoint of salary range depending on experience and any rent benefit adjustments.
The Janitor keeps buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
Essential Duties- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
- Lock and unlock doors; turn off lights in common areas.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming and possible waxing/sealing.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mix water and detergents or cleaners in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Final cleaning on turn over ready units to meet customer success at move in.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours
- Travel as required for in person classes and annual education conferences
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Education- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to problem solve, and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exist.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand. Occasionally required to sit.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
