Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Technician I will assist the maintenance team in keeping the buildings and grounds in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Responsibilities include verifying that buildings are in good repair through minor plumbing, janitorial, and related maintenance activities, ensuring all repairs are completed promptly and appropriately.

Education and/or Experience: 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations: Valid Driver’s License and insurance required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; draft routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math operations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
Physical Demands: Regular walking, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing; frequent standing; occasional sitting; ability to lift/move 50-75 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds occasionally; vision requirements include close, distance, and focus adjustment.
Tool Requirement: Employees must supply their own tools within 60 days of employment to perform maintenance tasks.
