Portland, OR | $16.30-$19.00/hr | Part-time | 31 hrs/week

Base pay range: $16.30/hr - $19.00/hr

Mondays & Wednesdays 11-5pm. Tuesdays & Thursdays 8-5pm. Fridays 10-2pm

• Monitor building security and safety, lock doors after operating hours.
• Lock and unlock doors; turn off lights in common areas.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours.
• Travel as required for in person classes and annual education conferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Problem solving and dealing with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists.

Employee regularly required to walk, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift more than 50 pounds. Frequent standing, occasional sitting. Vision required: close vision, distance vision.
