Facilities Engineer at Providence Portland Medical Center - Full‑Time, Day Schedule Benefits

The Building Engineer supports the environment required for the delivery of health care services. The building engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of building systems by monitoring, operating and maintaining building systems and equipment.

• Monitor and maintain building systems and equipment to support health care delivery.
• Ensure the reliability and safety of building systems.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain central plant operations and equipment.
• Maintain fire alarm systems.

• Successfully completed a stationary engineer apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Experienced in operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

• Trained in use of computerized building controls system (DDC) or equivalent education/experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in central plant operations and maintenance.

Base pay range: $46.53 - $48.09 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
