We are currently seeking an ambitious Associate Attorney with a track record of success in civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be an innovative self-starter with a passion for the legal industry and a dedication to staying on the cutting edge of legal practices and procedures. As an Associate Attorney, you will be part of a dynamic team, handling a wide range of civil litigation matters including personal injury, general liability, business, and construction.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
  • Conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and handle other details in preparation for trials.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Analyze probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
  • Prepare legal briefs, motions, pleadings, responses, and other legal documents.
  • Handle cases related to personal injury, general liability, business, and construction.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in civil litigation cases.
  • Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate legal strategies.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Oregon State Bar.
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury, general liability, business, and construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully litigating cases and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
