Overview
Senior Family Law Paralegal role focusing on managing a dynamic family law caseload, supporting attorneys and clients, and guiding clients through important life transitions.
Responsibilities- Prepare pleadings, memorandums, trial notebooks, and asset and liability statements.
- Gather documentary evidence, manage discovery, and conduct legal research.
- Handle complex, high-touch matters from start to finish and maintain accuracy and efficiency in a busy caseload.
- Draft and assemble essential family law documents, including Asset and Liability Statements, mediation and trial memorandums, demonstrative exhibits, and Parent Evaluation Notebooks.
- Maintain case flow, track key deadlines, and anticipate needs in collaboration with attorneys and clients.
- Support asset division discussions and understand related tax implications.
- 5+ years of family law paralegal experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with e-discovery and case management software.
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate.
