Our boutique litigation firm is seeking a client-service-oriented Legal Assistant to join their team. You will support a dynamic group of attorneys and paralegals known for being good-natured and hardworking.
Responsibilities- Schedule meetings and conference calls.
- Process mail and assist with new matter set up.
- Maintain files in the firm’s document management system.
- Assist with hearing, deposition, and trial preparation by creating binders and organizing exhibits.
- Create pleadings from templates and coordinate with court reporters.
- Follow up on records requests.
- Demonstrate collaborative spirit and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years of legal assistant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with local court procedures is a plus.
- High school diploma required;
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
