The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s technological infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, data security, and operational efficiency. This role manages IT strategy, support services, network administration, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships while aligning technological initiatives with overall business objectives.

The IT Manager will lead day-to-day IT operations, provide hands-on technical support when needed, and develop long-term technology plans to support company growth.

IT Infrastructure & Systems
  • Oversee daily IT operations including servers, networks, workstations, mobile devices, and cloud systems
  • Administer Microsoft 365, email systems, and user account management
  • Maintain and monitor network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, wireless systems, VPN)
  • Manage virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V)
  • Oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection systems are implemented and maintained
  • Support ERP, CRM, accounting, and operational software platforms
Device Setup & Deployment
  • Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Manage device imaging, provisioning, and lifecycle management
  • Implement and manage MDM (Mobile Device Management) systems
  • Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment
  • Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and escalation support for hardware and software issues
Camera & Physical Security Systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain IP‑based security camera systems
  • Manage NVR/DVR systems and video storage solutions
  • Oversee access control systems (keycards, badge systems, door controllers)
  • Coordinate with vendors on alarm systems and physical security integrations
  • Ensure security systems integrate properly with network infrastructure
  • Monitor and maintain system uptime and performance
Leadership & Administration
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Manage third‑party IT vendors and service providers
  • Oversee hardware and software procurement and licensing compliance
  • Develop and manage IT budget
  • Lead technology‑related projects and system implementations
  • Train employees on IT systems and security awareness
Required

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience
  • Experience installing and managing camera and physical security systems required
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
