Onsite QA Manual testers with SQL and Java knowledge

Location:

Portland, OR

Start Date:

Immediate – Need to start within 2 weeks max

Skill

Essential Functions:

• Develop and execute manual / automated tests – data exchange, component, functional, integration, performance
• Work closely with Developers on Unit Test design and analysis
• Review, clarify, and test against requirements and technical specifications
• Document and manage defects at iteration and release level
• Participate in scrum and team meetings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The applicant must have:

• 5+ years’ experience as a QA Engineer or SDET with database test focus
• Writing test plans and test cases
• Operating and maintaining automated tests
• Executing manual tests and test plans
• SQL – write and execute complex SQL queries
• Strong knowledge of data mapping, data models, data relationship comparisons
• Strong knowledge and experience in Agile environments, QA methodologies, concepts, processes
• Experience with a technology stack including: JAVA, JDBC, MS SQL, Oracle
• Exposure to automation tools including: HP UFT, CA Dev Test
