Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Required - Advanced proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics (11.x):
  Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Event Studio, Framework Manager, Dynamic Cubes, Transformer.
• Required - Expertise in designing complex dashboards, visualizations, multidimensional reports, and report bursting.
• Required - Skilled in migrating legacy BI solutions (Series 6 → Cognos 8/10/11) and converting reports to tools like Tableau and Power BI.

• Required - Strong experience in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), relational modeling, and building data warehouse layers.
• Required - Hands‑on experience with ETL processes, data mapping, data transformation, and documenting end‑to‑end data flows.
• Required - Ability to perform deep data profiling, validation, cleansing, and quality checks.

• Required - Strong command over SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and performance optimization.
• Required - Familiar with MDX and query debugging/troubleshooting for Cognos‑generated SQL.
• Preferred - Additional programming experience:
  Python, R, Java (Core), C, C++.

• Required - Expertise in working with SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, ODS, Cognos Content Store.
• Preferred - Experience with Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Sqoop, Jupyter Notebook, Cloudera environment.

• Preferred - Competent with Tableau, Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboarding), and Business Objects (WebI, Universe design).

• Required - Healthcare Basics
• Required - Knowledge of ERP systems (Banner), People Soft (Compensation, Global Payroll), HR, Payroll, AR, Financial Aid.

• Preferred - Strong experience managing onshore‑offshore models, client communication, requirement gathering, and documentation.
• Preferred - Proven ability to interact with business stakeholders, gather reporting requirements, and deliver scalable BI solutions.

$100,000 - $140,000 per year
