SalaryThe salary for this position is $72,000 to $100,000 annually. Please note, we generally don’t make offers above midpoint.

Position
:
Manager, Human Resources – onsite leadership role based in 24/7 airport operational facilities. Leads a team of HR professionals focused on human resource operations, emphasizing employee and labor relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, and fostering a positive work culture. This working manager will handle team member disputes, oversee labor regulations, and collaborate with leadership on strategic HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and resolve workplace challenges.
Travel to multiple McGee Airport locations and occasional alternate schedules may be required.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to team members and leadership, addressing concerns, grievances and conflicts in a fair and confidential manner.
- Investigate and resolve workplace issues, including team member complaints and misconduct allegations, ensuring appropriate and timely resolutions in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.
- Mediate team member disputes and facilitate communication between team members and management to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction.
- Develop and implement best-in-class practices and processes to promote effective team member relations and a positive work environment.
- Develop and manage a strong partnership with labor union members and leadership while upholding responsibilities in the collective bargaining agreement.
- Provide guidance on the labor contract, work closely with union representatives and oversee timely administration of the CBA.
- Conduct labor relations training for leadership to foster productive relationships with unionized team members.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, EEO regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR laws and regulations, partnering with the HR Compliance Team to implement changes to stay compliant.
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in all work aspects.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on employee relations matters and employment practices or claims.
- Guide leaders through performance management processes, including performance partnerships, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Participate in developing performance improvement plans (PIPs) and corrective actions to resolve issues before escalation.
- Support leadership in fostering high-performing teams and proactive conflict resolution to create a best-in-class operation and experience.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on engagement strategies, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and workforce planning.
- Provide leadership coaching and mentoring to operations leaders.
- Support programs to increase morale, retention, productivity, and team member satisfaction.
- Evaluate employee relations data to identify trends and opportunities for future initiatives.
- Contribute to shaping the organizational culture in line with McGee Air Services core values.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support HR Operational Leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or an additional 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 4+ years of experience in HR, Employee Relations, or HR Operations
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership, HR Business Partner, or people management role
