- Inspect all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
- Ensure all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles.
- Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards consistently. Identify unsafe behaviors, retrain, and complete accident investigations.
- Perform housekeeping duties: make beds, vacuum and clean.
- Verify and update status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
- Randomly select assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
- Perform opening and closing shift duties.
- Notify GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
- Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
- Act as Manager on Duty when required.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
- Minimum of two (2) years in a leadership housekeeping position.
- Minimum of high‑school education; post‑high‑school education preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Experience with phone interview, manager interview, drug screening, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
