Front Desk Agent – Sojourn Suites (Soon to be Hyatt!)

We're looking for a friendly and dedicated Front Desk Agent to join the team at Sojourn Suites! Our hotel is on the brink of an exciting transformation. While it might be a bit dated right now, we're kicking off a major renovation over the next year
, and we'll soon emerge as a brand-new Hyatt branded hotel
. We need someone enthusiastic to grow with us through this incredible journey, helping us provide excellent guest experiences during the transition and contributing to our future success as a Hyatt property,

Part Time:
Must be available for weekends and nights shift is 3p - 1130p Friday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday.

What You'll Do

As a Front Desk Agent, you'll be the first friendly face our guests see and the heart of our hotel operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Warmly welcoming and checking in guests
    , ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival experience.

  • Managing reservations
    , handling check-outs, and processing payments accurately.

  • Answering phone calls and emails
    , providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

  • Assisting guests with requests and promptly resolving any concerns to ensure a comfortable stay.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized lobby and front desk area
    .

  • Collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

What We're Looking For
  • Exceptional Customer Service

    Skills:

    You genuinely enjoy helping people and thrive on making guests feel welcome.

  • Positive and Professional Demeanor: You maintain a calm and friendly attitude, even during busy periods.

  • Strong Communication

    Skills:

    You can clearly and effectively communicate with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.

  • Detail-Oriented: You're accurate with information and comfortable handling transactions and guest records.

  • Problem-Solver: You can think on your feet and find solutions to guest concerns.

  • Flexibility: You must be available to work evenings, including shifts as late as 1:00 AM, and weekends
    .

  • Previous front desk or customer service experience in a hotel setting is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate with a great attitude!
