Job Summary

The Residential Treatment Supervisor II (RTS II) is a residential leadership role responsible for the overall coordination, supervision, and quality assurance of residential milieu operations within the Men's Residential Center. This position ensures a safe, structured, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented environment while supporting consistent implementation of residential policies, medication management protocols, client accountability systems, and staffing practices. The RTS II ensures effective day-to-day operations, staff development, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.

Working in close partnership with Program Leadership, Clinical leadership, Operations, and Facilities, this role serves as a key connection between residential services and treatment delivery, with responsibility for medication room oversight, safety systems, and residential milieu compliance functions.

Education & Experience
  • At least three years of experience working in residential substance use disorder or behavioral health settings, including experience with co-occurring disorders and justice-involved populations.
  • At least two years of supervisory or lead experience supporting frontline residential or milieu staff.
  • Experience supporting medication management processes in a residential setting, including oversight of medication distribution, counts, documentation, and protocol compliance.
  • Experience working within regulatory frameworks applicable to residential treatment programs, including OARs, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and contractual requirements.
  • Experience with electronic health records and data systems used for documentation, incident reporting, and compliance tracking.
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations

CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire and a valid driver's license.

Job Duties
  • Oversees daily residential operations to ensure a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented milieu that supports client stabilization, accountability, and engagement in treatment.
  • Provides direct supervision and coaching to Residential Treatment Supervisor I to ensure consistent real-time management of Residential Aides and effective shift coverage.
  • Supervises, trains, and supports Residential Aide staff to ensure adherence to residential policies, trauma-informed practices, and program expectations.
  • Ensures appropriate Residential Aide staffing coverage across shifts, including coordination of schedules, on-call response, and coverage planning to maintain 24-hour residential operations.
  • Oversees residential medication management systems, including supervision of medication distribution processes, medication room operations, counts, logs, audits, and coordination with clinical and medical staff to ensure protocol compliance and client safety.
  • Partners with medical, clinical, and other stakeholders to address medication discrepancies, storage concerns, documentation issues, and staff training needs related to medication handling.
