X‑Ray Technologist
VA Medical Center, Portland, Oregon
Pay$60 per hour
Weekly pay
- Full‑time
- Contract
- One‑year assignment
- Start date May 14
- 40 hours per week
- Day and evening shifts
- Weekends as needed
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per physician orders
- Position patients and operate X‑ray equipment
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA standards
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment
- Verify patient identity and exam orders
- Document procedures in the electronic medical record
- Coordinate with radiologists and clinical staff
- Follow VA and ARRT standards
- ARRT registered in Radiography
- Active state license
- BLS certification
- One year recent hospital X‑ray experience
- Experience with trauma and portable imaging preferred
- Ability to pass federal background and credentialing
