Job Overview
Ultrasound Technologist – Part‑time/Variable Shift, Providence Portland Medical Center, Portland, OR. Sign‑on bonus of $4,000 for eligible external candidates.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age‑related needs.
Required Qualifications- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Oregon Sonographer upon hire, Or.
- Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
- New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
- 2 years OBGYN sonography experience.
