Overview
Mental Health Associate - Social Work Education at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This is a Part-Time (0.6 FTE), Night Shift position.
Provides intervention and continuity of care to patients with behavioral health concerns and/or severe psycho-social stressors. Interventions involve providing supervision, emotional support, behavioral intervention, and basic care needs.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral science field; preferably in mental health related field such as social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, and/or social sciences or equivalent education/experience.
- Coursework/Training:
Annual training in Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) within 60 days of hire. - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
- 2 years experience providing direct care assistance to individuals with behavioral health concerns and/or severe psycho-social stressors and/or Development Disabilities and/or healthcare setting.
- Crisis Intervention or emergency experience.
