Diagnostic Imaging Assistant - Per Diem

Overview

Diagnostic Imaging Assistant at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. Per Diem/ Day or Variable Shift Available.

• Assist and direct patients while retrieving, organizing and inputting digital images and/or exam information into the Electronic Medical Records System (EMS).
• Assist with applicable software and interact with multiple departments, office staff, physicians and patients.
• Provide extensive clerical, telephonic, and customer service support as required.

• Coursework/Training and Basic medical terminology course, or completed within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of clerical or customer service experience.

• Associate’s Degree in the medical field, or equivalent.
• 1 year of medical and/or clerical experience, or completion of a Providence Internship.
• Coursework/Training and college courses in intermediate medical terminology and physical anatomy, or knowledge obtained through work experience.
• Diagnostic Imaging experience.
• Electronic Medical Records System experience.
