Caregiver In Home role at Senior Helpers

We are looking for a skilled caregiver for one of our female clients in Portland, OR for a month. The position involves house management, meal prep, companionship, and stand‑by assistance as needed.

Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities

Help with house management and organization
Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Supervise medications and ensure compliance
Transport client to errands, shopping, and doctor appointments
Document changes in client’s condition
Perform light housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

Positive, friendly attitude and patient demeanor
Willingness to work and caring at heart
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum age 18 with high school diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check
Reliable transportation
Cell phone with internet access (app usage for clock‑in/out)
