Overview
Per Diem/Variable Shift Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Perform Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under physician direction.
- Prepare patients and administer prescribed doses of radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals.
- Perform calculations and manipulate data according to established parameters.
- Ensure proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrate equipment, and conduct quality control.
- Monitor patients and perform other duties as assigned.
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire. Or Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology within 6 months (180 days) of hire. Or National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
- 2 years of Clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Additional DetailsPosted minimum and maximum wage rates; base pay range is provided with potential for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, and other incentive opportunities. Pay range: $47.39 - $73.56.
