Overview
Providence is looking for a Registered Nurse Resident to join Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. A RN Resident within Providence Health and Services is defined as a new graduate nurse with up to 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse. This posting represents one full-time, NIGHT shift position (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3, 12-hour shifts per week) within the Medical Surgical Unit.
A RN Residency with Providence St. Joseph Health will provide the foundation and support essential to becoming an expert in your specialty. Learn through a combination of structured curriculum, simulation, and authentic patient experiences guided by experienced preceptors. If you are a recently graduated RN, with less than 12 months of experience, then the Providence resident program is for you.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Upon hire:
Oregon Registered Nurse License - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

National Certification in area of specialty
- Night differential - $10.00/hr
