Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center has an immediate need for a full-time Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech. At Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service-oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments. Anticipates the needs of the surgical team. Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program. Certification or Surgical Technician training from the military is required.
  • 2+ years Surgical Technician experience. Orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
  • Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
