Registered Nurse, RN | LDRP Break Lunch Team (BLT) - 9 hr shifts

Participates with the Health Care Team in delivering quality health care to patients in a manner which reflects Kaiser Permanente's mission, vision, and values while supporting Labor Management Partnership principles. Provides support and assistance to the patient and Health Care team to promote population-based care, continuity of care, customer satisfaction, and self‑care. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills with a caring, courteous, flexible, supportive, respectful, open‑minded, appreciative attitude committed to a team environment.

• Participate in operating room procedures, providing nursing care during the inter‑operative phase and coordinating care with ASC professionals.
• Comply with shift, unit, and organizational policies; maintain reliability and attendance standards.
• Adhere to Kaiser’s Time‑Keeping Policy and accurately reflect productive time worked.
• Participate in clinic and nursing quality assurance programs; stay current with professional knowledge and development.
• Use professional communication techniques and maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational records (HIPAA).
• Promote collaboration, professional conduct, and compliance with department standards of behavior.
• Attend and constructively participate in staff meetings.
• Utilize assessment data for planning, execute nursing plans in accordance with developmental needs, procedure types, and age‑appropriate care.
• Implement correct body alignment in positioning and transferring patients; organize nursing activities efficiently in both circulating and scrub roles; record and document according to policy.
• Evaluate and document patient outcomes; participate in unit quality assurance activities monthly.
• Ensure safety in the use of equipment; comply with all Kaiser and unit policies.
