Pay range: $25 - $37 based on direct and relevant experience.

Portland, OR.

This is a temporary/PRN position with shifts from 10:00 am – 6:30 pm.

• Patient Radiologic Imaging (90%)
  • Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions, using two identifiers.
  • Explain and prepare patients for imaging procedures, positioning them appropriately.
  • Perform routine and advanced imaging on designated body parts, providing patient support throughout.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and use dose reduction techniques as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and peers.
  • Follow physicians’ orders, ensuring safety regulations to protect yourself, patients, and coworkers.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain an orderly, clean work area promoting safety.
  • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain equipment; clean and disinfect after use.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Work with a Fluoroscopy C‑Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures.
• Radiologic Department Support (5%)
  • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
  • Assist with training new associates and provide technical expertise.
• Completes other tasks as assigned (5%).
