Job Summary
In collaboration with the healthcare team, the PT uses clinical judgment to treat patients with health problems. Responsibilities include implementing PT programs to prevent disability, restore function, and coordinate therapy activities with other disciplines.
- Deliver quality treatment to patients from pediatric to geriatric, evaluate physical status, develop and implement treatment plans, and involve patients and support systems.
- Complete accurate documentation, provide patient education, and maintain professional competency through continuing education.
- Support organizational goals, adhere to safety protocols, and demonstrate productivity and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, and participate in departmental activities and initiatives.
Experience & Education
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Recent graduate with certification in Physical Therapy.
- Post-graduate training in areas like lymphedema is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
- Credentials from multiple states required; primary state credentials at hire.
- Physical Therapy Permit or License from Oregon and Washington within 6 months.
- National Provider Identifier and BLS certification required.
Additional Requirements
- Equipment operation, basic computer skills, knowledge of anatomy and pathology, hands-on PT experience, and knowledge of lymphatic and vascular anatomy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized assessment and treatment skills, orthopedic expertise, advanced degrees, and proficiency in lymph drainage and compression techniques.
