Location: 3181 SW Sam Jackson Park Rd Portland, OR 97239
Pay Rate: $40.74/hr
Duration: 3 months
Expected Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 03:30)
100% REMOTE
- Needs to be local to Portland, OR (able and willing to pick up equipment from OHSU)
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- If from a related field, candidate must have 36 hours of accounting courses from an accredited college or university. All candidates must be proficient with the use of computers, including spreadsheet applications.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of professional healthcare and/or relevant financial analysis experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of capital markets and banking system, inclusive of experience executing payments
- Knowledge and experience of Oracle Cash Management and the Oracle AR module, inclusive of troubleshooting and testing
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including, but not limited to, complex queries, pivot tables and specifying / evaluating complex formulas
- Communicate effectively and professionally with many different individuals, departments, and organizations, both internal and external
- Effectively balance competing priorities and deadline
- Proficient problem-solving skills with minimal oversight.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Treasury Compliance & Reporting:
Develop, review, modify policies and procedures related to merchant services, federal/state banking law, SEC and securities laws, private business use and other treasury regulatory areas. Interface and support management in interacting with external regulators/stakeholders as required. Assist with administration of Treasury internal controls framework and associated policies and procedures. Interact and discuss with business units to inform them of treasury solutions and procedures consistent with institutional policy and external regulations.
– 40% - Treasury Operations Administration– Analyze and monitor treasury activity and prepare summary reporting for senior management focusing on compliance and accuracy. Support of Central Accounts Receivable. This includes analysis of cash collections and positioning, receivables aging schedules and forecasting. General banking functions including Wire/ACH initiation and processing. – 35%
- Financial Analysis:
Independently analyze and review reporting for institutional debt, investment, trustee funds and cash balances. Prepare recurring, detailed and ad hoc reports for management. – 15% - Other:
Work on ad hoc projects, defining scope and institutional impact. – 10%
