We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Property Accountant to join our clients team in Portland. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced property management environment and has hands‑on experience using Yardi for financial reporting, accounting workflows, and property‑level analysis. Below are more details.
In this role, you will:- Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions for a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and variance reports.
- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger, ensuring proper coding of income, expenses, and capital projects.
- Complete bank reconciliations, security deposit reconciliations, and other monthly close tasks.
- 3+ years of property accounting or real estate finance experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and property‑level financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to create and interpret financial reports.
