The Finance Manager & Controller (FMC) is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, operational accounting excellence, and strong fiscal governance across a global managed staffing organization. This role provides leadership with actionable financial insights, supports multi-country operations, and aligns staffing economics with overall business performance.
The ideal candidate has experience managing global finance operations in people-intensive environments and thrives in fast-growing, operationally complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Consolidate multi-currency financials across global entities
- Ensure accurate recording of revenue, cost of services, payroll, and operating expenses
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards
- Oversee finance operations across global service centers (payroll, AR/AP, expenses, petty cash, inventory tracking)
- Partner with operations on staffing economics, utilization, headcount forecasting, and capacity planning
- Support hiring and promotion decisions by validating financial impact against budgets
- Maintain cost allocation models across centers, clients, and service lines
- Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles
- Build workforce-driven financial models focused on labor costs, productivity, and margins
- Monitor key metrics: service revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, center-level P&Ls
- Identify optimization opportunities and support data-driven leadership decisions
- Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership (CFO, COO, department heads)
- Provide insights on profitability, pricing, labor efficiency, and client economics
Support cross-functional initiatives across finance, operations, HR, and global teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
- Minimum 3 years in a controller or finance leadership role
- Experience in global, multi-entity, people-driven businesses (staffing, BPO, outsourcing, professional services)
- Hands‑on experience managing cross‑border payroll, compliance, and operations
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification
- Experience with ERP systems and workforce planning tools
- Background in high-growth or operationally complex environments
- Knowledge of cost-to-serve models and labor-driven financial analytics
